As an independent land-oriented artist and writer I create conceptual and performance installations and projects that are primarily place-based/sited and ephemeral, often relying on contact improvisation or an in-the-moment adaptation to place and phenomenology that mirrors the unfolding therapeutic process and sensitivity to the ever-changing environment. In my work I explore deep resonance and inter-relational connection, often seeking intimate moments in monumental settings. Mine is a listening practice.
I rely on small and screen-scale artefacts (zines, prints, short films) made from photography and writing to share my work, which is designed to intentionally ‘leave no trace’ in the landscape, but might be heard and felt between listening bodies. Below are a selection of recent projects. I am currently writing my third book (publishing in 2027 with Ebury/Penguin Random House)
